HELPING LESS FORTUNATE

Orinthal “Coach O” Striggles is a native of Girard, Georgia USA and was a multi-sport standout in cross country, wrestling and track throughout high school. He continued running at Benedict College where he graduated in 2003 with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation; in 2007 he obtained a masters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. He currently works as a mental health counselor for the South Carolina Department of Mental health.

When Coach O is not working, you can always find him coaching, running competitively and dedicating himself to helping others. One of his key missions is to help runners get in to colleges and universities in the United States or obtain opportunities to compete in road races throughout the US and world at large.
